MSDUK 2022 Conference & Awards: Reflecting on Excellence
This was a historic event and a grand celebration of the outstanding achievements made by our ethnic minority suppliers and corporate members. From inspiring keynote speakers to exceptional business shows and magnificent award ceremonies, the annual supplier diversity event has become an integral part of MSDUK.
Highlights of 2022 MSDUK Conference- Business & Innovation Show
International Day– With industry experts taking a deep dive into how to implement supplier diversity programmes across Europe, the panel discussions revolved around genuine dedication to supplier diversity allowing businesses to foster entrepreneurship within marginalised and underrepresented communities. Parallelly, MSDUK also launched the Minority Businesses Matter Report Europe based-on effects of minority-owned companies in Europe.
Knowledge Forum Day– With over 500 attendees incorporated an astounding mix of speakers, interactive workshops, and a thrilling fireside chat that inspired all in attendance. 9 incredible finalists pitched their innovative and disruptive business to the judges and Sheana Yu Founder & CEO of Aergo Health won the grand prize of £20,000 and a place in Accenture Mentoring Programme! Knowledge Forum Day was then followed by the 2022 MSDUK Awards Ceremony. Over 450 attendees gathered together to celebrate the efforts of both large corporations and ethnic minority-owned businesses in making supply chains more inclusive and competitive. MSDUK awarded a total of 8 winners across distinct categories including Innovation Challenge overall winner, Sheana Yu.
Business Show Day– Our bustling business show and exhibition featured exhibitors engaging in networking, forging new connections, and exploring novel offerings for their businesses. The venue buzzed with innovative Ethnic Minority Businesses alongside prominent global brands, showcasing their excellence.

EMB Workshops
Delivered by Heart of The City, this first workshop titled “Gaining a Competitive Edge through ESG and Sustainability” directs EMBs to delve into the realms of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles and sustainability practices. This workshop aims to empower EMBs with the knowledge and strategies necessary to integrate ESG considerations and sustainability initiatives into their business operations.
The second EMB workshop, “Personal Brand Through Networking” is going to be delivered by Ninder Johal, The CEO of Nachural Group. During this workshop, attendees can anticipate receiving practical guidance and valuable insights on how to leverage their personal brand in a matter that translates to tangible benefits for their business. Here, participants are invited to step into the shoes of the other side, enabling EMBs to understand the corporate perspective and vice versa. Through this immersive role-playing workshop, you’ll gain insights into both sides of the equation. If you’re an EMB, you’ll delve into the intricacies of corporate operations, while corporate representatives will gain a deeper appreciation for the challenges and advantages faced by EMBs. This interactive lounge goes beyond theory, encouraging open discussions about processes, challenges, opportunities, and the vital topic of diversifying supply chains
Community Platform Launch
We are honored to launch our “MSDUK Community Platform”, an exclusive space for EMBs (Ethnic Minority Businesses) to connect, collaborate, and learn together. As an EMB, you can explore our platform’s offerings to unlock growth opportunities, collaborate with fellow EMBs, exchange ideas and resources, and take a holistic approach to achieve more as part of our community. Within this platform, you will be able to find an array of virtual facilities including networking spaces, themed discussion channels, opportunities to participate in online events, and many more. European Supplier Diversity Programme
MSDUK is thrilled to host the prestigious European Supplier Diversity Conference in Europe for the very first time. While MSDUK Conference 2023 – Business and Innovation Show will be held on September 14th – 15th 2023 in London, UK; European Supplier Diversity Conference 2023 will take place on September 20th – 21st 2023 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Participating in both conferences enables you to gain valuable knowledge, expand your professional network, and access numerous business opportunities within the UK and European markets.
While the MSDUK and ESDP conferences have specific regional focuses, they share the same goals of promoting supplier diversity, opening doors, fostering connections, and accelerating growth for all Ethnic Minority Businesses. Parallelly,EU Innovation Challenge Finals provide a platform for diverse entrepreneurs and innovators to highlight their ground-breaking ideas and solutions whilst competing for a cash prize.
